The perfect place to go shopping since 1950

Jouni started out by selling boot wax, sugar cones and other such useful items to the people of Äkäslompolo downstairs in his home. Life goes on and in September, Jouni is opening a shopping centre – the kind that people could not have dreamt of back in the 50s, except perhaps in America. There is going to be a hardware store, Marimekko, Alko, Sportia, a café, masseurs... and perhaps like nowhere else in Finland, Jouni is nature friendly and takes his heating energy from the rock. But don’t worry, Jouni is still Jouni; you can still come and visit us without unnecessary fuss and dressed in just the way you feel is right for you.
